One of the letters that the Home Office sent my husband states that deporting him would not breach our right to private and family life (Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights) because he could keep in touch with his family and friends using "modern methods of communication".
So the caseworkers at the Home Office think that it is acceptable to force me to conduct my marriage via email.
This is not a joke, they actually wrote this to him.
I could not finish reading the letter because it made me feel too sick. I cannot believe that they come up with these things, the worst part is that we pay them to sit in their office thinking up these excuses to try to justify splitting up families.
